INVITATION TO BID AND LEGAL NOTICE TO BIDDERS TOWN OF COLTON: Notice is hereby given that the Town of Colton, County of St. Lawrence, New York will be accepting sealed bids for the fabrication, construction, ground preparation, and installation of an entrance sign and a kiosk with associated signage at the Stone Valley trailheads in the hamlet of Colton. Design specifications dated July 28, 2013 on pages SP1 (2 of 7), SP3 (4 of 7), and SD2 (7 of 7) developed by The Chazen Companies for the entrance sign are available at the Town Clerk’s Office in the Colton Town Hall. Alternate bids are requested: Alternate #1 for the use of tumbled CMU block; and Alternate #2 for the use of cultured stone river rock. Pressure treated pine rather than cedar is requested. Bid specifications may be picked up Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm at the Town of Colton Clerk’s Office, 94 Main Street, Colton, New York 13625. Sealed bids will be accepted until 12 noon on Friday, September 28, 2016 at which time they will be opened and reviewed for award on October 5. The work is to be completed by October 31, 2016.
