WINTHROP — Members of American Legion Post 514 Winthrop and the “Hometown Hero Muskie Challenge” recognized Rodney Carney for his continued support.
Over 250 soldiers and family members from Fort Drum have participated in this annual event.
Carney’s donation of campers has enabled soldiers recovering from combat related injuries and soldiers with young or handicapped children to enjoy a free weekend of camping, fishing, food and entertainment at Jellybean’s Riverside Campground, Brasher Falls.
