Austin Scott, Waddington, was recently honored as the WPI male student-athlete of the week for his participation on the cross country team.
“Scott topped the field at the Worcester City Championships as the Engineers pitched a shutout en route to reclaiming the team title,” according to a press release from the college.
He completed the 8K course with a time of 26:46.3.
