Alex V. Hammond of Waddington recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from Valley Forge Military College in Pennsylvania.
Hammond majored in political science and history.
Alex held the positions of cadet honor captain and Battalion S6, she said.
He was also a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Sigma Kappa Delta honor societies, the Gold Star Dean’s List and Regimental Choir.
Alex is currently a junior studying industrial and labor relations at Cornell University in Ithaca.
