MASSENA -- The U.S. Combat Dojo recently honored several students.
Daniel Benham earned the male student of the year award, Joseph Vierno earned the black belt of the year award, and Tracy Allen earned the female student of the year award.
The student of the year award is given to a student who shows “respect, humility, a hunger to improve one's self,” according to Master Instructor Jonathan A. French.
The awards are awarded to students who have shown the most improvement within the past year, he said.
