CANTON -- Nathaniel Ashley, vice president of Triple A Building Center, recently completed an intensive leadership training program, created to help local, independent hardware store, home center and lumberyard managers be even more responsive to the needs of their employees and their customers.

Facilitated by Do it Best Corp., the store's co-op buying partner, the Leadership Development Institute (LDI) is designed to provide store owners and managers from across the country with the tools and skills they need for the next level of successful leadership. Over the course of the four -day instruction, at the co-op's world headquarters in Fort Wayne, Ind., LDI participants learned new skills from a variety of industry experts, regional educators and company leaders.

"I was thoroughly impressed with the content of the program, and enjoyed the opportunity to network with other independent lumberyard and home center retailers. I now have more confidence along with some pertinent resources and ideas for the future of the company " said Ashley.
