OGDENSBURG -- Three Ogdensburg students won the Daughters of the American Revolution Swe-kat-si chapter's essay contest.
Participants had to write about what the U.S. flag means to them.
The winners were Isabelle Marguerite Ashley, Abigail Kimberly Dishaw, and Sadie Rose O’Neil. They are all students at John F. Kennedy School.
They will be recognized at a celebration sometime around Flag Day in June.
