POTSDAM – Several SUNY Potsdam athletes from St. Lawrence County have earned a spot on the SUNY Athletic Conference's inaugural Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.
They are:
• Men’s basketball, Aaron Armstrong, Lisbon, and Matt Piercey, Ogdensburg
• Men’s ice hockey, Brandon Short, Norfolk
• Men’s lacrosse, Adam Lewis, W. Stockholm, and Stephen Lewis, W. Stockholm
• Women’s ice hockey, Lindsay Johnson, Star Lake, Kady Hart, Potsdam, and Taylor Marcellus, Waddington
• Women’s lacrosse, Rachael Huntley, Canton, and Sam Mace, Canton.
The athletes’ Academic Honor Roll gives special recognition to athletes who have attained a minimum 3.30 cumulative grade-point average for the 2016-17 academic year.
