SYRACUSE -- The Sweet Adelines Acapella North Chorus recently earned a second place medal in the small chorus category.
The chorus competed in Syracuse with 18 singers on stage.
In addition, Acapella North’s Michele Weaver of Norfolk sang lead in a quartet with members from central New York and southern Ontario. Weaver’s group took fifth place of the 25 competing quartets. They also won most improved quartet.
Upcoming shows for the group include performances at Hammond Museum Aug. 21 at 7 p.m., Church of Visitation in Norfolk Aug. 25 at 1:30 p.m. and October 26 at Madrid-Waddington Central School.
