CANTON -- SUNY Canton recently inducted several new St. Lawrence County members into the Tau Phi Zeta honor society:
• Mary V. Bregg of Canton, a 2003 Norwood-Norfolk Central School graduate. She recently graduated from the veterinary technology bachelor of science program.
• Jenny Spencer of Canton. She recently graduated from the veterinary science technology associate of applied science program.
• Danielle N. St-Denis of Massena a 2011 graduate of Massena Central High School. She recently graduated from the veterinary technology bachelor of science program.
• Nancy A. Ziemba of Russell. She recently graduated from the veterinary science technology associate of applied science program.
Tau Phi Zeta recognizes the academic achievement, scholarship, leadership, character and professional excellence of students in the college's veterinary medicine programs.
To qualify for induction, students must achieve at 3.5 GPA and demonstrate a love of animals.
