The State University of New York awarded an honorary doctor of science degree to SUNY Potsdam alumnus Haden A. Land in a recent special ceremony held in the Hall of the States in Washington, D.C.
SUNY Potsdam president Kristin G. Esterberg gave the degree, alongside provost Margaret L. Madden. Several Congress members and staffers also took part in the ceremony.
