Students from St. Lawrence County named presidential scholars at Clarkson University

POTSDAM -- Students from St. Lawrence County have been named presidential scholars for the spring 2018 semester at Clarkson University.

Presidential scholars must achieve a minimum 3.80 grade-point average and carry at least 14 credit hours. They include:

• John Baker of Potsdam, a senior majoring in mechanical engineering.

• Sarah Dominy of Canton, a sophomore majoring in global supply chain management.

• Donnie Duprey of Ogdensburg, a senior majoring in civil engineering.

• Tyler Eddy of Massena, a junior majoring in electrical engineering.

• Jacob Erdman of Gouverneur, a senior majoring in mechanical engineering.

• Charles Helenbrook of Potsdam, a freshman majoring in mechanical engineering.

• Bedros Janoyan of Potsdam, a freshman majoring in civil engineering.

• Claire Maciel of Potsdam, a sophomore majoring in communication & interdisciplinary liberal studies.

• Abigail Matthews of Massenaa senior majoring in computer science & digital arts and sciences.

• Austin Milone of Harrisville, a junior majoring in political science.

• Maurice Peploski of Potsdam, a sophomore majoring in physics.

• Riah Simons of Heuvelton, a freshman majoring in biology.

• Jordan Smith of Nicholville, a senior majoring in innovation and entrepreneurship.
