Students from Potsdam, Canton, North Lawrence, Ogdensburg, Lisbon and Rensselaer Falls receive college degrees

Students from Potsdam, Canton, North Lawrence, Ogdensburg, Lisbon and Rensselaer Falls received various degrees from colleges around the country.

Ryan C. Lynch, formerly of Potsdam, received a PhD from the University of Colorado, Boulder in ecology and evolutionary biology.

Rachel Draper of Canton recently graduated from the University of New Hampshire. She earned a bachelor’s degree in anthropology.

Eli Koon of Canton graduated with a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from the College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Vermont.

Shelby Mae McGraw, North Lawrence, graduated with a master of science degree from South Dakota State University.

Amelia Brown of Potsdam graduated from Marlboro College in Marlboro, Vt. with what school officials calls a “Plan of Concentration” in politics and religion, exploring the effects of Sharia Law, how it pertains to human rights, and parallel legal systems.

The following students graduated from Paul Smith's College: Richard Bromley of Ogdensburg earned an associate of applied science degree in culinary arts; Ian Burnham of Canton earned a bachelor of science degree in environmental studies; Daniel Hourihan of Potsdam earned a bachelor of science degree in natural resources management and policy; Danielle Moyer of Rensselaer Falls earned an associate of science degree in integrative studies; Ann Ramsay of Potsdam earned a bachelor of arts degree in environmental studies.

Camille Dawson of Lisbon recently graduated with a bachelor of arts degree from Centenary College.
