Shane Pickering of Star Lake was one of 191 SUNY Oneonta students who presented original research and creative projects at the college's Student Research and Creative Activity Day on March 26.
Pickering worked with David Wong of the Department of Biology on a project titled "Effects of Environmental Variables on the Maturation and Spawning of Zebra Mussel (Dressena polymorpha) in Otsego Lake N.Y." Pickering was the primary presenter for the project. He was also a co-presenter for a second project titled "2013 Student Facilitated Research at the Biological Field Station."
