AKWESASNE -- The St. Regis Mohawk Tribe was recently honored with an Environmental Quality Award.
Environmental Protection Agency Regional Administrator Judith Enck presented the award at the EPA’s offices in Manhattan Friday, April 19.
The EPA presents the awards annually to individuals, businesses, government agencies, community-based organizations and media in recognition of significant contribution to improving the environment and public health.
