CANTON -- The fifth book in a series by Sidney Sondergard was recently published by Jain Publishing.
Sondergard, a professor of English at St. Lawrence University, has been working on the first complete English translation of short stories by 18th-century Chinese writer Pu Songling.
As with all of the other volumes, the newest work features illustrations by St. Lawrence graduates.
Six volumes are planned.
