POTSDAM -- St. Lawrence Health System’s pediatrician Dr. Peter Rajtar has been certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Board certification from the American Board of Pediatrics follows a rigorous and comprehensive examination of a candidate’s advanced application of specialized training in pediatrics. Specialized training, including neo-natal and adolescent care, mental and behavioral health, preventative care, emergency and critical care, and oncology are some of the 25 areas evaluated for ABP certification.
Dr. Rajtar received his medical degree from the University Of Sint Eustatius School Of Medicine in Sint Eustatius, the Netherlands Antilles, and completed a residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, Ill. Before joining CPH, Rajtar was in private practice in Asheboro, N.C.
