“This was our first meet of the season and it really shows the dedication of our swimmers to attend these USA Swimming competitions held mostly around the Albany Region. Our swimmers train hard and have fun when they are at these meets, that’s how they become successful,” Coach Jock said.

“Our swimmers always do a few fast fun races they want to do and one or two other races to test themselves, and they always step up to these challenges, sometimes racing against 100 other swimmers in their age group,” Jock said.

Other highlights of the meet were:

• Paul Braun (Lisbon) - 13 and over male 500 dree, dropping 18.57 seconds from last season to go 5:55.60 and in the 200 IM taking off 21.87 seconds to go 2:30.82.
