A St. Lawrence Central graduate was recently honored by Buffalo State University.
Taylor McGraw, who plays on the school's hockey team, received the Alumni Scholar Athlete Award.
He played four seasons while maintaining a 3.73 cumulative GPA in speech and language pathology. He played in 57 career games as a forward, tallying eight goals and 10 assists and helped the Bengals reach the SUNYAC semifinals for three consecutive seasons.
He is a four-time All-SUNYAC All-Academic Team member and made the commissioner's list three times, while qualifying for the dean's list for all seven semesters.
