CANTON -- The following students will participate in an off-campus study abroad program for the spring 2017 semester through St. Lawrence University:

• Maeve C. Bowdish of Lisbon. Bowdish is a member of the class of 2018 majoring in geology. She graduated from Lisbon Central School. She is participating in St. Lawrence University's spring off-campus program in New Zealand at University of Otago.

• Edona Hadzovic of Norfolk. Hadzovic is a member of the class of 2019. She graduated from Norwood-Norfolk Central School. She is participating in St. Lawrence University's spring off-campus program in Austria.

• Audrey H. Hayes of Massena. Hayes is a member of the class of 2018 majoring in economics and business in the liberal arts. Hayes graduated from Massena Central High School. Hayes is participating in St. Lawrence University's spring off-campus program in Washington D.C. at The Washington Center.

• Ivy A. Raines of Canton. Raines is a member of the class of 2018 majoring in government. She is participating in St. Lawrence University's spring off-campus program in Jordan.

• Madelyn F. St. Pierre of Ogdensburg. St. Pierre is a member of the class of 2018 majoring in economics and business in the liberal arts. St. Pierre graduated from Heuvelton Central School. St. Pierre is participating in St. Lawrence University's spring off-campus program in New Zealand at University of Otago.

• Emma J. Visser of Potsdam. Visser is a member of the class of 2018 majoring in neuroscience. Visser graduated from Potsdam Central High School. Visser is participating in St. Lawrence University's spring off-campus program in Spain.

More than half of St. Lawrence University students study off campus for a semester or longer during their undergraduate experience at either its international or domestic study abroad program sites.
