Charles Dennis III was recently chosen as the Potsdam Rotary Club student of the month for December at Seaway Career and Technical Education Center.

Dennis is a student in the natural resources program and attends St. Lawrence Central School.

He is the son of Tina and Charles Dennis Jr.

As a student in the natural resources program, Charles has studied forestry/land management and agricultural science, according to a press release.

Upon completion of the program, Charles will be able to be a “steward of the land,” the release said.

He plans to attend SUNY Morrisville for an associate’s degree in agricultural science in fisheries studies.

“Charles is a student leader and is a fine young man. He always works hard and completes any task assigned to him. He has a great attitude and will be a success in any field he decides to go into,” said instructor John Morgan.
