NORWOOD -- Tyler Sunday has been selected as the Potsdam Rotary Club Student of the Month for April.
Sunday is enrolled in the Allied Health Program at Seaway Career & Technical Education Center and is a student at Massena Central School.
He is the son of Shannon and Tyler Sunday Sr.
As a student in allied health, Sunday has job shadowed at Canton-Potsdam Hospital in the laboratory and imaging services departments.
He also shadowed at Kinney Drugs.
During the classroom portion, Sunday earned 7.5 college credits in human biology, medical terminology and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation.
Sunday will attend college in pre-med, laboratory services or nuclear medicine.
He has been offered full scholarship to Syracuse University and the University of Rochester.
“Tyler is deserving of this award. He is an awesome student who is my top achiever for the year. I have truly enjoyed having Tyler as a student and know that he will be successful in whatever field he chooses,” said instructor Saxby.
