Joshua Colon of Potsdam, a petty officer third class in the U.S. Navy, was recently recognized as the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln Warrior of the Week.
He serves on the aircraft carrier as an electrician's mate and is a four-year veteran.
A news release from the Navy says the award "is to publicly recognize outstanding individuals from ship's force, Huntington Ingalls-Newport News Shipbuilding, and contractor organizations who have made a significant contribution toward reaching USS Abraham Lincoln's refueling complex overhaul (RCOH) goals."
