POTSDAM -- Nikhil Seth of Potsdam will participate in the Pan-Mass Challenge Aug. 6 and 7, the largest single athletic fundraising event in the country.
Seth will be among 6,500 cyclists who will ride with the collective goal of raising $46 million to support adult and pediatric patient care and cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Many of the cyclists, aged 13 to 84, participate in the PMC to honor a family member or friend lost to, or being treated for, cancer.
The average cyclist trains for three months, solicits 40 sponsors and raises more than $8,000.
