POTSDAM -- Jacob Woods of Potsdam was recently awarded the 2013 Dave Corse Memorial Scholarship by the St. Lawrence County Trappers’ Association.
The association offers an annual scholarship to a St. Lawrence County high school senior who plans to attend college in a natural resources related curriculum.
Woods plans to pursue a career in natural resource conservation and management.
He was selected for the scholarship due to his enthusiasm, involvement in outdoor activities and demonstrated interest in the environment.
The association supports the conservation of natural resources and seeks to encourage youth to become involved.
