POTSDAM -- A Potsdam resident and SUNY Potsdam professor was one of several recently elected to United University Professions’ statewide executive board.
Laura Rhoads of Potsdam, a professor of cell physiology at SUNY Potsdam and president of UUP’s Potsdam Chapter, was re-elected to a two year term on UUP’s executive board.
Also elected to two year terms were Thomas Hoey of UAlbany, Darleyne Mayers of SUNY Farmingdale, Lori Nash of SUNY Oswego, Anne Wiegard of SUNY Cortland, Beth Wilson of SUNY New Paltz, Ken Lindblom of SUNY Stony Brook and Pamela Malone of Empire State College
Fred Kowal of SUNY Cobleskill was re-elected as UUP president. Eileen Landy of SUNY College of Old Westbury was re-elected as UUP’s statewide secretary. Arthur Shertzer of SUNY Stony Brook was elected to his first full term as UUP’s membership development officer.
