SUNY Oswego recently awarded Presidential Scholarships to several local students due to attend in fall 2015:
• Andrew M. Stevens of Hannawa Falls, majoring in wellness management. He graduated from Potsdam Central High School.
• Ashleigh Sovie of Ogdensburg, majoring in business administration. She graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy.
• Ashler J. Herrick of Potsdam, majoring in economics. He graduated from Potsdam Central High School.
• Jennifer L. Wilcox of Rensselaer Falls, majoring in childhood education. She graduated from Hugh C. Williams Senior School.
The scholarships are $18,800 over four years for students residing on campus. Off-campus Presidential Scholarships are $2,350 a year.
For non-New York state students, the total award can increase to as much as $50,800 in combination with a “Destination Oswego” scholarship.
