ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY -- Potsdam and Norfolk residents recently enrolled in Hamilton College.
The students are Chad Varney of Potsdam and Sidney Molnar of Norfolk.
They were selected from a pool of 6,240 applicants to the college, and join a class of 482.
Originally founded in 1793 as the Hamilton-Oneida Academy, Hamilton College offers an open curriculum that gives students the freedom to shape their own liberal arts education within a research- and writing-intensive framework.
