BROXVILLE – Brenna Rice, daughter of Susan Rice of Potsdam, received the Newcomer of the Year Award from Sarah Lawrence College.

Rice is a 2010 graduate of Potsdam Central School. Rice is a member of the Sarah Lawrence Women’s Swim team. Rice concentrates in literature and French.

Sarah Lawrence College is a coeducational liberal arts college, founded in 1926, with a unique educational model featuring small classes, bi-weekly one-on-one student-faculty conferences, and personalized academic guidance by faculty advisors called dons.
