POTSDAM -- The Potsdam Amvets, Robert J. Freego Post 282, recently honored a Sandy Creek man for his service.
ROTC Dylan Davis was awarded the American Veterans of WWII Award April 23.
The award was presented to Davis for “diligence in the discharge of duty and willingness to serve both God and country,” according to a release from the post.
The award includes a medal, ribbon bar and certificate.
The award was presented by retired colonel William Murphy. Also representing the post were third Vice Commander Jerry Deon and Patrick Rourke.
