CANTON -- Several students from St. Lawrence County have been selected for membership in the St. Lawrence University chapter of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the international economics honorary society.
• Audrey H. Hayes of Massena. Hayes is a member of the Class of 2018 and is majoring in Economics and Business in the Liberal Arts. Hayes attended Massena Central High School.
• Ashley N. LaFleur of Norwood. LaFleur is a member of the Class of 2017 and is majoring in Economics. LaFleur attended Norwood-Norfolk Central School.
• Jacqueline A. Sovie of Ogdensburg. Sovie is a member of the Class of 2018 and is majoring in Economics-Mathematics. Sovie attended Lisbon Central School.
• Madelyn F. St. Pierre of Ogdensburg. St. Pierre is a member of the Class of 2018 and is majoring in Economics and Business in the Liberal Arts. St. Pierre attended Heuvelton Central School.
Membership is open to students who have taken at least five economics courses at St. Lawrence, including at least one upper-level course, and have an economics grade-point average of 3.3 or higher and an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
