OGDENSBURG -- An Ogdensburg girl was recognized by Sen. Patty Ritchie, R-Heuvelton, at the State Capitol Tuesday for their being named “Youth of the Year” by her local Boys & Girls Club.
Receiving the special honor was Brei Shaver of Ogdensburg.
Also receiving the award was Amiere Bell of Fort Drum.
Both were named “Youths of the Year” for their strong academic excellence and leadership skills, Ritchie said.
