Ogdensburg Free Academy Key Club receives 13 awards at recent leadership training conference in Albany

OGDENSBURG -- The Ogdensburg Free Academy Key Club received 13 awards at a recent leadership training conference in Albany.

• Diamond Level Award for New York’s top service program, tying with three other clubs, including Norwood-Norfolk Key Club.

• First Place Interclub Award for its leadership development program with Canada's Eastern Ontario and Ottawa Key Clubs.

• First Place Kiwanis Relations for its extensive activities with the Ogdensburg Kiwanis Club and its service programs.

• Outstanding President Charlotte Miller, Outstanding Vice President Martin Arquette, Outstanding Treasurer Melissa Jones, Distinguished Lt. Governor Laken Kelly.

• Second Place Single Service Silver Division for Kids Kingdom Playground.

• Second Place Major Emphasis Program for its spring and fall Youth Talent Show and extensive youth program.

• Second Place for total hours of community service to benefit Major Emphasis programs.

- Endorsed International Trustee candidate Laken Kelly, a junior at OFA, who will run in July at the International Convention in Anaheim, California.

• Honored Executive Assistant Nabiha Qudsi, an OFA senior, for her service to the state board of directors.

• Distinguished Key Club members: Kate Sweeney, Austin Putman, Charlotte Miller and Laken Kelly

• Division 24 Kiwanis Relations Award
