UTICA -- Edwards, Newton Falls, and Ogdensburg residents recently graduated from Mohawk Valley Community College
Mohawk Valley Community College held its December Commencement Ceremony
19, 2014.
MVCC President Randall VanWagoner presided over the ceremony with the board of trustees, presented by Chair David L. Mathis.
John Bul Dau, one of the “Lost Boys of Sudan,” gave the commencement address.
Maryrose Eannace, vice president for learning and academic affairs, presented the candidates for degrees and certificates.
The following students were members of the graduating class:
• Trevor Whitmarsh, Edwards, Welding Technology
• Hunter Hathaway, Newton Falls, Graphic Communication: Illustration
• Rebecca Palmer, Ogdensburg, Graphic Commuication: Graphic Design
