OGDENSBURG -- The Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce named eighth-grader Katherine Rogers as its student of the month for September.
She received a certificate from OFA, a Chamber Dollars check and a plaque from the Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce.
“Katie is an excellent student who is curious, self-motivated and she gets along very well with her classmates. She is also a very conscientious student, and on many occasions has finished her own work and then helped others to find the answers. Katie is extremely polite and an overall joy to have in the classroom. She is involved in band, as well as active in sports,” OFA guidance counselor Kathy Verville said.
