OGDENSBURG -- Eighth grader Olivia Berghaus was recently selected as the Ogdensburg Free Academy student of the month by the Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce.
“Olivia is an exceptional 8th grade student at OFA. She is a delightful young woman. She is knowledgeable, articulate, confident, well-mannered and cares deeply about the quality of her work. Olivia does a great job balancing school work, friends, clubs and extracurricular activities,” said Pamela Luckie, principal of OFA middle school.
Berghaus is involved in Student Council and gymnastics.
She was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society.
Berghaus received a “Chamber Dollars” check and a plaque from the Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce.
