Casey Plumadore of Norwood was recently promoted by the New York Army National Guard.
Plumadore was promoted due to “capability for additional responsibility and leadership,” according to a press release from the National Guard.
Plumadore serves with company B, 2-108th Infantry and was promoted to the rank of staff sergeant.
Army National Guard promotions are “based on overall performance, attitude, leadership ability, and development potential,” the release said.
