NORWOOD -- Norwood-Norfolk Middle School recently named its students of the quarter for the second quarter.
The students included Garrett Bond, Madelyn Dinneen, Courtney Delosh, Hayden Bullock, Trent Tatom, Tyler Trimboli, Makenna King and Annabell Smith-Goolden.
Teachers from grades 5 to 8 chose two students from each grade level who demonstrated the qualities of academic success, good citizenship, school and community involvement and leadership, the school said.
King was also named the Elks club’s Flyer of the quarter.
Students received a plaque and homework pass, as well as a special field trip to Maxcy Hall at SUNY Potsdam to use the rock wall and ropes.
The Elks Flyer of the Quarter is based on sportsmanship, courtesy, responsibility, caring and a positive attitude, the school said.
