NORWOOD -- Aaliyah Jackson was recently selected as the Potsdam Rotary Club student of the month for December.

Jackson is the daughter of Autumn Delosh and James Jackson and is a student at Norwood-Norfolk Central School.

Jackson is in the pharmacy tech program at Seaway Career and Technical Education Center. The program is a 450-hour, one-year program for high school juniors and seniors. Upon completion of the program, students will be prepared and able to sit for the Pharmacy Tech National Certification Exam.

“Aaliyah is a top performer in my class and is very goal oriented. She plans to pursue a career in pharmacy after graduation. She is a hard working student and completes her assigned tasks on time and to the best of her ability. It is a pleasure to have Aaliyah in my classroom. She is eager to learn about pharmacy, which makes my first year of teaching very rewarding,” said instructor Krista Tressa.
