NORWOOD -- Norwood-Norfolk Central School September High School Students of the Month are freshman Sydney Daniels, sophomore Jaron Belmore, junior Seth Gilbert, and senior Vanessa Perry.
These students were selected for their academic achievements, integrity and leadership in the school and throughout the community.
Daniels is the daughter of Michele Cutway and Tracy Daniels. She is very interested in science, specifically chemistry.
Belmore is the son of Laura Tyo and Derkek Belmore of Norwood. His plan is to become a doctor.
Gilbert is the son of Ricky and Deanna Smith of Norfolk. He plans to study sports medicine in college and hopes to play baseball and soccer at the college level.
Perry is the daughter of Joanna Penny-Tessier of Norwood and Paul Perry of Louisville. Upon completion of high school she plans to be an animator and a writer. She plans to attend college first and take classes in music and writing.
The Norwood-Norfolk PTSA solicits gift cards from local businesses for each student. The businesses that donated are the Hotel Grande and Al Smiths of Norfolk and The Hometown Café and Lobster House of Norwood.
Also, the Teacher’s Association presents the senior student of the month with a gift card to the Clarkson Bookstore.
