Norwood-Norfolk Central School names high school students of the month for January

Norwood-Norfolk Central School recently released the names of high school students of the month for January.

• Amber Stickney is the freshman student of the month. She is the daughter of Ronald and Terry Stickney of Norwood. A news release from the school says Stickney enjoys art, photography and fishing with her dad. She is a member of the NNCS Key Club, including the Scrapbook Committee and PAL. Her future plans are to attend SUNY Potsdam and become an elementary teacher.

• Jordan Wilby is the sophomore student of the month. He is the son of Heath and Jennifer Wilby of Norfolk. The release says Wilby likes animals and his pets. He enjoys spending time with his brothers and working on a family tree. His future plans are to go to college and study an animal-related field.

• Makenzi Fountain is the junior student of the month. She is the daughter of Amy Fountain and Chris Emlaw of Norfolk. Fountain enjoys watching movies, spending time with friends and playing sports. She participates in soccer. She plans on going to college to become a dental hygienist and wants to move somewhere warm.

• Brittany Monica is the senior student of the month. She is the daughter of Brenda Delosh and Daniel Monica of Norwood. Monica likes to read and spend time with friends and family. She enjoys watching scary movies and is the treasurer of the NNCS Key Club. She is also involved with the honor society and participates in an elementary worksite. She plans to go to college next year at SUNY Canton and major in a health field or criminal investigation.
