NORWOOD -- The Norwood Kiwanis recently named its new board and gave awards to several members.
Bess Kirnie was named 2013-2014 Kiwanian of the year.
Former club president Ulana Ballan received a distinguished club award for 2012-2013. Ballan and former secretary Carol Mason each received distinguished officer pins.
Joel Merriman was recognized for 55 years with the club. James Tyler received recognition for 30 years and Margaret Boyle for 20.
Molly Pressey, Harrold Chapin and James McGinnis were each recognized for 5 years of membership.
