Norwood BOCES names Potsdam resident as November student of the month
The staff and administration at Seaway Career & Technical Education Center in Norwood are please to announce the selection of Keisha Mossow as the Potsdam Rotary Club/Seaway Career & Technical Education Center Student of the Month for November 2010.
Keisha, who is enrolled in Health Careers, is also a student at Massena. She is the daughter of Virginia and Derek Mossow.At the completion of the first year, the students are eligible to receive long term Care Task Aide and Feeding Assistant Certificates.
The students will also receive American Heart Association CPR and First Aide Certificates.
The second year of the program, the students will be provided the knowledge, skills and behaviors necessary to obtain the New York State Nurse Aide certification.
Students can also elect to receive college credit through dual enrollment courses and articulation agreements with various colleges.
Mrs. Lytle, Health Careers Instructor, says “Keisha is a dedicated and responsible young lady.
She is eager to learn, assumes initiative and handles responsibility well.
Keisha is kind, considerate and demonstrates a positive, caring attitude. Keisha will be an asset to the health care profession.”
