NORFOLK -- The membership of the Norfolk Lions Club recently recognized the volunteer services of Clare Bresee. Lions president Royal Sheldon presented Clare with a wall plaque and a pin recognizing her as an Uplinger Distinguished Service Award recipient.
The award recognizes Clare’s continual community involvement including her donated services to the Wagner Whistle Stop thrift shop, West Main Street. Clare was also recognized for her services to the local Hepburn Library and the Norfolk United Methodist Church.
Clare and her husband , Lloyd “Red” Bresee , are residents of the Norfolk community.
