Brendon Paquette of Morristown, serving with the 206th Military Police Company, was recently promoted to the rank of specialist by the New York Army National Guard.
Guard members are promoted “in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership,” according to a press release from the National Guard.
Promotions are based on “overall performance, attitude, leadership ability, and development potential,” the release said.
