OGDENSBURG -- Miranda LaFave, a senior from Morristown Central School, was recently chosen as the BOCES student of the month by the Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce.
LaFave is a student in the BOCES natural resource management program taught by Nick Carbone.
“Miranda is a consistent performer, she demonstrates strong content knowledge in the classroom and isn’t afraid to tackle the tough jobs in the field. Miranda is undecided on continuing her education – her plans are to enter the workforce and evaluate the situation,” Carbone said.
LaFave received a certificate from BOCES; a “Chamber Dollars” check sponsored by Key Bank, NA; and a plaque from the Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce.
