MASSENA -- Jonathan G. French, 13, was recently promoted to third degree black belt in ITF tae kwon do.
French trained as a second degree black belt for two years before he was able to test for the third degree, according to a press release from according to Jonathan French.
Sensei French is also the youngest member of the Association of Martial Artists World Wide Black Belt Council, and he currently holds two other black belts in different martial art styles: third Dan in ITF Tae Kwon Do, second degree black belt in Joshiki, and first Degree black belt in kang shi do, according to Jonathan French.
He is a member of the U.S. Combat Dojo in Massena.
