Megan Wells of Massena will study abroad during Union College's fall term.
Wells is traveling to Athens, Greece to study Greek culture and language, art, history and mythology.
Wells is a member of the class of 2018 majoring in biology and theater.
Union College offers an array of study abroad programs for its students. About 60 percent of Union students study abroad during their time at the college, according to a press release from the college.
Union College was founded in 1795 as the first college chartered by the New York State Board of Regents, and offers programs in the liberal arts and engineering to 2,100 undergraduates.
