MASSENA -- Sensei Talia Rodriguez recently tested for first degree black belts in both Joshiki and ITF Tae Kwon Do at the US Combat Dojo.

“She passed with flying colors and impressed the five black belt judges,” according to Jonathan A. French, a master at the dojo.

Rodriguez is a 16-year-old student at Massena High School.

The test was judged by French, Sensei Joe Vierno, Sensei Samantha Conn, and Sensei Renee Murray.
