MASSENA -- Massena Memorial Hospital awarded Cathy Smith with a “Golden Whisk Award” for taking first place in their employee cooking contest.
Her winning dish was pumpkin torte.
All entries had to include either pumpkin or apple.
Runners-up included Kathy Mason with “ugly” apple pie and Corey Francis with applesauce gumdrops.
